2013 50th Champ Show Judge
Iain Shaw - 2013 judge with Ch Honeyhall Hijinx, the last Cairn to have won a group at a Championship Show in the UK. It was at Paignton in 2004 under terrier specialist Maureen Micklethwaite. She finished 3rd top terrier that year and is happily living out her retirement in DUNVEGAN CASTLE on the Isle of Skye with the curator a lovely lady She had 3 litters producing CH HONEYHALL HIDE N SEEK joint top bitch 2009, HALLIWELL now in the USA and nearly with her title after just 5 shows, and then the latest HIGH N DRY who recently won her 1st CC at the North of Ireland CTC at 22 months.
MR IAIN SHAW (HONEYHALL) from Scotland, currently President of the parent body The Cairn Terrier Club, has agreed to judge for us in 2013. Involved with his parents in the breed all his life Iain has judged in UK at Championship level since 1991 and has judged in Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Belgium and Southern Ireland as well. He is also contracted to judge the Norwegian Cairn Club show in 2012, Crufts in 2013 and a Breed Club show in the US in 2014.
He brings a great depth of experience to the task, both in the the breed's country of origin and more widely internationally, and we are truly delighted that we are able to host his first visit to this country.
